Underwater Photography by Scott Boyd

The cold dark waters of the Pacific Northwest provide a location for stunning Underwater Photography.  The lack of surface light and our rich "pea soup" make for challenging dive conditions, but the amazing creatures that lurk beneath our waters are extraordinary.  Photos of many of these astonishing creatures are found throughout the site.

Scott's favorite images include those from a recent trip photographing the remarkable Underwater Caves of the Riviera Maya as well as an adventure to the spectacular Galapagos Islands.  Photo Galleries are available  from many other  diving destinations around the world along with local pictures captured in the emerald seas of the Pacific Northwest (please click on the galleries link to the left).

I hope you enjoy the site.

Recent News

We've added a lot of information about Wreck Diving in Puget Sound to our Wreck Diving Page.  The local wrecks aren't quite as beautiful as the caves, but the history surrounding the wrecks is a lot of fun.

Our Rix Compressor is up, running and pumping Nitrox.  It's very convenient and is getting to be quite popular.  Details on the Compressor and building a Nitrox Mixing Stick can be found here.

Due to popular demand, I have finally put up a page with some pictures of our new boat, the "Dive Bum".  We are certainly spending a lot of time on the new boat and enjoying it immensely.
